Looking for a good company I am from Dallas, Texas I am looking for 1100 doable pay it says it guarantees 1200 per week seems fishy when they say that and when I asked what happens if you run less then 2500 miles they say the pay you the difference how does that work makes no sense. someone with info perhaps enlighten me also feel free suggest other companies they have called and said they need me to drive to IOWA for orientation seems a bit far only concern is cost what's that gonna cost me they say free but nothing is free in my experience. I don't like forced dispatch meaning I can turn down a load if need be not that I ever had but I always like those options even at swift had one company tell me that also I hate new york city period they wanted me to do both forced and new york city some people may not care about that place I do been robbed before there won't ever go back not saying cant happen elsewhere just where I am at.

A few K&B drivers have posted on here that the guaranteed minimum pay is the real deal. Dozens of companies are doing this now.

Be wary of any company that offers a guaranteed salary that carries a mileage statement. While it may seem like a good idea, it never is.

If the economy turns bad. There are only 2 things that can happen. One, you’re services are no longer required. Two, they run you into the ground covering loads that other drivers not on the guaranteed salary aren’t getting.

Iowa is a Right to Work state. They require no reason or probable cause to terminate you. Take that with a grain of salt when you consider any so-called guaranteed income.

Read the threads on KB. I recall a lot of drivers saying that guarantee comes with a lot of babysitting by dispatch including calling and messaging you on your 10hr break.

Drivers getting guaranteed minimum pay, makes the load planners and dispatchers work more efficiently also. Those people are held accountable if trucks are sitting and not generating revenue, but the drivers are still being paid.

Um yeah. I can plan 4 of those trucks in my sleep.

One good load to PA or NJ. Then run them in circles for a month. Cha Ching

Boss happy. But will that driver still be happy with that guaranteed salary?

They will have you sit all day and then dispatch you for an all night run. This a pretty good video of K&B

To me that's a good thing. Sleep during daytime and drive at night. That's what I like about pulling reefers.

FFE pays drivers while on home time if they agree to answer the phone.
$850.00 if you take a week off and agree to be on call. I don't see a problem with that at all.
