It’s not all truckers fault it’s the industry as well they do not push a healty living walked into a ta to day and got aggregated .Not a single brand
Of protein bars on the shelf .no thing healthy at all just junk and Taco Bell ..or maybe it is the truck drivers fault I’m sure if a good bit complained and people actually bought it off the shelves they would sell it ...no one is going to keep stocking items that’s never bought ..Go BMI Go!!!!!

    Good for them.
Employers ought to be able to discriminate, in other words choose, for any reason they see fit, and morbid obesity is a very sensible reason for disqualification.

I agree fat people need be discriminated against least of all a job requires safety of others yours in a job that puts lives at risk if you have list health issues.
Currently working for a company that employs someone 398 lbs. this fat guy has no business behind anything let alone a truck. If you can't manage your affairs why to employ these overweight behemoths expect them to do a job properly. You don't like it stop eating so much it's not hard if you can't figure it out get some help. I have one meal a day once while 2 both very small size of my hand maybe have a kid show you his hand eat that much and eat 3 of those sizes. on top that I walk 4-5 miles every day rather, I am tired or not sick is only time to reduce the amount or stop depending severity. its a lifestyle so is being overweight so change it to something your proud of instead having to regret it. If you okay being fat that's on you don't complain if they fear the safety of others.

    JonJon78 Thanks this.

I remember shortly before this thread was started someone posted a picture of the TV lounge at the main Prime terminal. I think it was a bash because there were a bunch of heavy drivers in the pictures...

Then, this thread pops up... It seemed like a troll.

Prime has a health and wellness program to help people loose weight or just to live a healthier lifestyle while on the road.

I don't see them descriminating like that...

Ummmm. I have seen only a handful of Prime drivers that weren't fully rotund.

or, you can get 2 slices of greasy pizza for $5 or a cup of fruit that wouldn't fill a child for the same $5. Yeah, they're real concerned about my health.

Well if your trying to lose weight eat the fruit sounds maybe one or two be enough to live off of couple days do some walking you be surprised how little how much a person my size eats a day it a not a hard choice fruit is healthy nothing healthy about pizza. You all have choices if you want to stay fat keep eating greasy high fat foods.

The wellness program, is that the one where you have to give them money, then finish the program and they give you back the money you originally gave them? In most places the Company pays you, you are not out a dime, and they write you a check when you reach certain goals. The Wellness Program there doesn't provide the driver an incentive, most can't make the payments for the program in the first place. Prime benefits with lower disability and health insurance costs, which are not passed onto the healthy drivers, the healthy ones still get to pay for the fat ones.
