Just a heads up JCT is considering reinstating the $75 fee for dropping a dirty trailer and $75 fee for dropping without fuel. That's $150 out of the settlement for both.
And I hope they do. 8 trailers dropped in Fort Worth the past couple of days and only 1 was washed out.Aamcotrans, Jarhed1964 and dwells40 Thank this. -

Full of fuel for sure, but I have dropped dirty trailers at Ft Worth. South Dallas is the only place in the Metroplex I'm aware of to get wash out. Maybe there's somewhere close you local guys can tell me about.
In my defense, I've always seen the wash out guys there when I've dropped. Of course that's been sometime back.Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
Then there are 2 Blue Beacons in Dallas and 1 in Waterford.
Also, if you can get a trailer to the yard before 8am on Tuesday or Thursday; there is a wash crew that comes out to the yard to wash exterior and inside the trailers.

Appreciate info on the Steamwash as I have put that into my notebook. Those two Blue Beacons are basically on the opposite side of Metroplex. If in South Dallas, that washout express is nice and easy, but if you're not in the area it is a beast to get to.
Like I said earlier, I got lucky the few times I've dropped empty at Ft Worth as washout guys were there. The fuel thing is what really gets me as there are two approved reefer fueling spots literally around corner from that yard.Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
FYI...the Fuel City is easier of the two places. You can use the card at the pump and you exit out back to the stop light. The Valero/Circle K you have to walk in, swipe the card, go back out and pump and then walk back in to finish the transaction. Then getting out can be chore at times because the cars won't give you room to get out.Jarhed1964 and Scoot 1971 Thank this. -
Plus, Fuel City has awesome tacos!

If you're in the Ft Worth area....the QT at I-35W exit 42 is (as of this post) $2.449 a gallon for B5. Most everywhere else is B20.
