But do people ever TRULY defy expectation? THAT'S what puts it lower in my book. For us, it's a simple matter of putting 2 and 2 together and getting 4. For meteorologists, well... 5 comes up quite frequently.
It's worth noting that I'd excluded consequences from the scale because those are entirely separate from the amount of crap that needs to be cut through in order to get a reasonable prediction

Is there anyone on the road that isnt checking facebook anymore? I feel like im running a ball across a football field every day.
FlaSwampRat and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
Well, I am the odd man out, I do not care if a truck, or 4 wheeler pulls back in just a car length ahead of me, as long as they were passing me, and unless there is traffic in front of them fairly close, I do not let off, much less jake or brake. they are going faster than me, so no way am I going to smack into them.
I know what was there when they moved over, and by the time that changes, they will be far enough to have my desired clearance.
Now that is interstate or highway driving, around town I have had them pull over so close I could not even see them through the hood, and the last thing I saw was their brake lights while they were changing lanes. lol
The way I drive, and plans to keep driving the way I always have, I am quite sure I would not be driving a truck that told on me everytime someone swapped lanes in front of me, or even worse, automatically applied the brakes or even let off. -
Ditto. I smack my kids for lip and i love every hair on their head. Id want to burn an ugly plastic truck i resent when it gets mouthy.
FlaSwampRat, starmac and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
Lol just dont buy one of these new trucks, my company got me a 2020 t680 and the thing turns on the jakes by itself when it hits the governed speed, even if i keep the fuel pedal down and have the jakes switched off.it blew my mind i couldnt figure out why the jakes were on . These things are starting to drive themselves.
If u had the cruise on when u say a car comes in 1 car length ahead of u. The collision system will put u thru the windshield , slamming on the breaks thinking ur going to hit them .They need to do away with all this technology if u ask me. I love the comforts of the new trucks but they need to do away with everything elseT.Rucker, Cat sdp and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
