Speaking of stepping in it, one time in Laredo I found the address. Found the company scribble in spanish (Imagine that...) found the papers matched up and down went inside. Girls look at papers on trailer outside, smack gum and blank stares at me the gringo who knows nothing.

I call dispatch. They know nothing. Yes everything is correct for the thousanth time, and no they cannot help.

I ended up sitting there watching the office girl watch me eyeing her papers.

Ive had strange loads before but this one never got to where it was supposed to do. Trucking company bossman ultimately took it back to his yard. Told me to drop it. Paid me both ways.

All that for nothing. Not necessarily nothing but you think 40,000 of something should matter to somebody down there. Sheesh.

Now you can enter. Better have twic or you gotta wait for escort and pay $200,
Luckily I do, now you have no clue where to go, noone on cb.
Cant get out to talk to noone they just point back to truck.
So you just stop and block everything and when someone tells you to ‘move that pos outta way’
You can ask where the lot is “it used to be painted on ground in 1900, faded and cant be read anymore..
