Troopers say that a semi traveling westbound on I-70 lost control and crashed through the guardrail into the eastbound lanes of the interstate. At least one other vehicle reportedly crashed as a result of the semi truck crash.
Images shared by Colorado troopers show a semi truck with the trailer overturned and a large number of boxes spilled out onto the roadway.

I have a hard time figuring some of these wrecks out. Article says he was westbound and crashed into the eastbound lanes. And was near the tunnel. So from the pictures he was on the 7% for 7 miles downgrade west of the tunnel, and ended up facing eastbound. I guess he jackknifed and the trailer swung all the way around 180° to make him face east. But he should have been in the far right lane going 35 - 40 mph, so I guess he lost it somehow and crossed the two lanes to his left and the momentum carried the trailer around when the cab smacked the guardrail? It would be nice to have more info, but probably the CSP doesn't know exactly how it happened either.
I hope no one was injured. -
All I got to say is super singles and snow is unsafe at any speed
