I just read it’s you, the truck drivers fault for increasing the price on everything.
If, you would haul the load, not reject the cheap rate of, example, .85/bushel for organic soybeans going 230 miles, gotta washout ($50) for a load you lose 12.5% off the top of, and tie up a day for about $424-450 for the day, before its fixed expenses.

But if the lazy, unqualified drivers would go back to work, wait... unqualified, the government used to call trucking, “Unskilled Labor”

"...$1 billion provision to boost truck parking capacity coast-to-coast in his committee’s recent highway reauthorization bill."
Since this is coming from Congress, by the time everything is said and done there should be enough available to pay about half the cost of building the Davetro.

    Rant on.

I got ID’ed yesterday to buy a carton of cigarettes.
    Wanted to see photo ID.
I asked to see her ID too.
She wanted to know why. I said you gotta be half dead to sale the smokes, gotta make sure you’re legally qualified to make sales.
I had my twic card, showed that for photo ID, blew her mind, never seen or heard of one.
Is it really necessary to show your license, with your home address on it, to some stranger?
Kind of like how they used to say, “Social Security numbers are not for Identification purposes.”

Ever try to open a bank account?

I believe it’s wrong to extend the smokers age to 21, supposed to be adult at 18.
So what are you able to do at 18, if not able to make decisions, stay home with your mommy and daddy?
    I know!!
They’ll be able to drive a truck, put up with hateful people, and be despised by the many and loved by none, and not able to smoke, though you could 6-8 months ago and be legal.
Now, move that slow truck to the right lane and stay there, in the way of traffic who don’t know how to merge.

Don’t put the through trucks in far left lane out of lane changes, put them in the thick of things, and don’t be smoking while driving, it’ll get in your eyes, and you’ll run over someone’s car.

    Rant off.
    Be safe out there! :dog:

My CDL has a PO Box address on it. Another reason I love my new home state.
