Butthead does the ignore previous shifts messages thing a lot. I give him static about it...I tell him, basically I say things once and only once. If something changes, then I will update...but don't bug me asking questions that have already been addressed. The last time I got the wellness b.s., I replied with one letter, X. And if they called me...I would probably be fired because of the offensive language they would hear...and, I would tell them that I go out of my way to avoid talking to anyone up there and that if they ever try to call, they'll get voice mail because I am putting them on my Do Not Disturb list that I turn on when I am in the sleeper...then hang up.

I'm the same way. Supposedly then world's deadliest virus, but if you feel better wearing a homemade cheetah print mask or one you picked up at Lowe's next to the router display, then you do you.

    Bumper and ncmickey Thank this.

As an outside to Crete Shaffer, I would assume they get so uppity about fuel and their forced fuel stops/forced routing is because they pay you guys better than 95% of other W2 company drivers. $0.65 CPM base pay is pretty #### high for reefer/dry van, and keep in mind you guys are getting benefits (free 401k matches and healthcare benefits) as well.

I also kind of assumed that that's why you have that God awful opti-idle system in there instead of a good APU, because again that high pay is coming at a cost to your comfort (I think we can all agree APU's or being able to idle at will is better than the opti-idle system and also being able to route yourself/fuel where you want is a big part of your comfort as well).

That's just my take on it.

I do believe snack here is at the .70 pay scale now. He has said in a post 100+ pages ago he would of given up some pay in exchange for an app unit on the trucks.

I fuel whenever and wherever I want. I mostly go to mom and pops to avoid the unkept, flip flop wearing steering wheel holders that plague the biggies.

And a trailer without solid sides and a solid roof. I said over on @Winnyf1's Kivi thread that I at one time thought about looking at them in the spring, but paused that option because they are going all automated and putting Paccar motors in their Paccar trucks instead of Cummins...but that may have been a knee jerk reaction because they have 2 other positives that this mega doesn't...no nanny driver annoyance system and their newer trucks are getting APU's, so they are still in consideration.
