FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Guess I won't be staying there anytime soon.

 

I would imagine the parking lot is going to be very empty. Going forward.

 

I asked Safety at my current job about the cameras. I could never figure why FCC cared if I rolled a stop sign on private property, we’ll it’s one of the parameters the set up with the camera folks. The camera people weed through “events” and forward the ones that fit the parameters. That being said regardless of whether they do it or not, truck cameras can be viewed in virtually real time, I’m not aware of anything that would trigger ramp parking anymore than roadside etc. so me thinks they were bored and rolling through footage.

 

I've never stopped in those crapholes of a truck stop. I always stop in either Barstow or Kingman. If I'm coming down 15 there's a bunch of places to pull over and park between the AZ/NV state line and Barstow.

 

I hate drivers who are going .1 mph faster than you decide to take 10 miles to pass you. I hold zero sympathy for them. If you're that stupid then you're getting zero help from me. I don't care if traffic backs up for a mile behind you.

That's just my opinion.

 

How much does it really change your day to tap the brakes to turn off the cruise, count to 10 and hit the resume button?

 

What’s really stupid is that these morons can seem to go fast enough to catch you but yet can’t pass you…I’m at the point when stupid folks drive like that then I’ll let them hang out there..

 

If another truck running 65 mph in front of me I don't care but there going 60 68 65 58 62 all over the speedo and I try pass the they speed up to 68 and try and hold me off I'll putem on the.

 

Imagine the chaos when the feds mandate all trucks to the same speed and the only difference is the varying tread depth giving one a 1/4 mph more than the other.

 

I'm picking up a load from Lumberton, NC tomorrow going to Home Depot in Joliet. My appointment isn't until 1400 tomorrow. Was going to push for Mebane but I really don't need to so I'll call it a day in Mount Airy.

Was looking at reviews for Quickie and they seem to be everything but that. Fully expect to be there for 4-6 hours.
