I'm noticing a theme in the last few pages: tarp.

I use to park next to a Maverick driver every weekend. He'd show up covered in dirt head to toe. I'd show up, put on a fresh polo, and head to the local fancy restaurant with the wife.

Us door swingers swing earlier. ;)

When the time comes, and you have crossed over, your thread then would be: "Snackbar is Tarpin', in Hell".

But hey, if you repent, and accept the Puffin as your savior, you could be Chillin' in Heaven.

Lol. Sorry fellas. My truck is in for service and I have an extended weekend :)

Well same trailer, different day, same results. Back in the shop, again. Fixing dry rotted air bags on an 11 year old trailer. IMG_6048.jpeg

I have a procedure for doing my paperwork, I didn’t follow that procedure and it cost me 5 cpm this month. Sent my paperwork in 52 hours after my empty call and we are only allowed 48 hours. That’s about a $400 lesson this month. Last month it would have cost me $1500. Looks like I better tighten #### up.

    They're being that strict?

They’ve probably been that strict since you came aboard. For the longest time they just #####ed at us about the 48 hour rule. They finally put some teeth behind it. This is the first time it’s got me. I’m usually on top of things, I’m blaming running recaps!

I figured they would give ya a mulligan once in a while, especially when 99.9% of the time the paperwork is turned in asap.

My day went to #### in a hurry. I spent the night in Vega, TX. Got up early because there was a window of opportunity to get thru Tucumcari between the rainy/windy part of the storm and a brief freezing rain/drizzle episode before it turned cold. Hit some freezing mist that was only sticking to the mirrors and antennas (and my friggin headlight plastic). But got thru it ok. Fueled up in Milan and was planning on making it to the Petro in Kingman tonight...until about 15 miles past the AZ/NM line where traffic came to a stop for some sort of accident. I only had about 10-15 min to spare. I ended up just saying f'it and got off an exit and went back east to Speedy's for the night. On top of all this, a tree limb fell and hit the from left fender and hood on my wife's Silverado, T-Mobile's network speed is glacial here in NM/AZ and I can't get the friggin satellite to find signal.

I was in Vega last night too. Headed easterly back home to Dallas. About 1030 when I turned in for the night the weather was saying overnight sleet/snow mix. Got up at 0500 and they pushed the precipitation out to about 10am. Roads were wet all the way home but got above freezing shortly south on US287.

Always amazes me how creative drivers can get when late night parking. Saw several trucks blocked in 3 deep when I was leaving. Whenever I park at places like that I always strategically park if possible.
