I can clean my mirrors and windows without getting on the step.....anyway ...Dispatch needed some help and asked me if I'd go to Mars in Lancaster TX and I said yes , anything I need to know about the place and can I park overnight there ?

 

Make sure to use the entrance off of Wintergreen Road. Before you get to the gate, slide your tandems to the rear. Easy drop and hook but lately their lot has been packed for some reason.

No overnight parking but we have a drop yard you can park at that’s only 5-6 miles away. 4701 Cleveland Road. Ask dispatch for gate code. We use spots 301-325

As for a reload they could send you to numerous different shippers in the area but regardless, you’ll more than likely get a load heading back to the Kansas City area.

What he said i delivered there and reloaded there today going to Ottawa ks and it's still packed with trailers. Dallas drop yard is the best place to stay over night.

 

Last time I was there, I had to have a yard dog tell a Crete truck to move so I could back into the only spot open. I’m not sure why it’s been so packed lately.

 

I noticed when you go right from the guard shack right before you turn left to go around to the back of the building their some tanks/chillers of some kind settings outside some kinda construction going on inside I guess may have slowed down the unloading/reloading.
