I think TQL is playing games with me now that I am blocking their calls. I went to do my morning check call and now the app wants me to log in again, but when I put in my phone number it gives me an error (log in as guest and enter your phone number so it can identify which load you have). So it looks like they're ignoring me back...fine by me.
Spoke to my FM, he said that SPD has yet to get the full load info for each of the customers. All they sent us was the city for each delivery and the delivery dates and times. No address, no customer name. Fortunately I have the B/L so I sent him all the info...TQL is really a disorganized company.

Woke up yesterday to a drift of snow on my windshield and on my steps. Looked at Google Maps and at 5 am there was enough snow on the roads that they were orange. Got moving and headed to Boulder. Took almost 2 hours to drive 55 miles. My customer's location wasn't built to handle 70' semi's so you have to back in off the street and then the back the entire length of their building. They are at the end of a dead end street that is off of a road that loops so it made it a straight back, except they haven't trimmed the trees along the driveway in a while so you had to hug the building to keep from dragging the trees on the other customers freight. Got in and out fairly easily, however I discovered that when Volvo replaced my axle lock switch, they didn't reconnect it to the wiring harness. Their driveway was at a slight uphill angle from the road and I could have used that because the diff lock didn't give me the traction I needed, so I had to get a running start to make it off the snow covered road onto their treated driveway.
I wanted to get thru WY yesterday because a lot of the state is under a high wind warning from early Tuesday thru mid day Wednesday, and I have under 10k lbs. The only real weather I hit was Sherman where they had us down to 45 mph for about 10 miles. Made it to Evanston with no issues and will make it to the Caldwell area before the weather comes in. Once I make it past Twin Falls it's not supposed to be too bad thru Boise. Wednesday is going to be the challenge because there is another storm coming in and I have to try to time it going over Cabbage with even less weight. Already warned my FM that the weather might be an issue...with this lite of a load, tire chains won't make much of a difference if the road is f'd.Lonesome Thanks this. -
Here we go. Road closures starting and this next storm hasn't even gotten close
