Yup, & it's over some spring bushings they replaced less than a year ago.... dude is telling me to replace those bushings they have to replace the springs too and they're only covered till 300k.... ummm.. well, y'all just replaced them last March, so I guess that means you replaced the springs too!!.. once they replaced it, part is covered for a year!... I'll let Shane deal with em.. ain't losing more time over this right now. Get the codes cleared and we'll revisit this later.

The book hours on warranty, work or less hours of labor than non-warranty work… That’s why a lot of mechanics don’t want to touch warranty work they’ll make every excuse of the sun to try to avoid doing any warranty work because they make less than they do on non-warranty, work,

Another reason why FCC is top notch…they stand behind their driver and owner ops…it makes the job a bit easier knowing that.

Not accurate. They make money, just at a lesser labor rate and a smaller parts markup. Dealerships wouldn’t do the work otherwise.

Finally got my geotab training done today and hung out in the Fremont yard since my 70 ticked down to 57 minutes. Tomorrow, back to rolling to Four Oaks NC while wondering where to watch the Super Bowl. Go Niners!! (fan since 71).

Parked at the Iowa 80 for a reset. Planning on visiting the museum tomorrow. Been meaning to since I stopped here as a new driver 20 years ago.
Dropping this load in CB Saturday morning (receiver isn’t open on the weekends. Should have a new assignment tomorrow to help me figure out what to do with all my freshly acquired hours.

Many times dealerships are reluctant to do major manufacturers warranty work because of the red tape and hoops the manufacturers make them jump thru to get approval. In BigR's case, it shouldn't have been an issue because it was a warranty on a repair, so the manufacturer is out of the loop... it's just the dealership being a major Richard about standing behind an inadequately repaired vehicle.
