FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

I’m not on vacation until today so that wasn’t my fault.

 

One of the downsides of wanting to beat morning rush hour in the LA Basin is that you arrive to your 1st stop an hour early and the place doesn’t even open until 8 am. Oh well

There wasn’t quite as much traffic as i was expecting either

Last time I went there, I took the toll road South from CA91. Almost NO traffic, and beat the hell out of I-5.

 

that’s the way i took. Only traffic i hit was on CA-91 itself

 

The facility in Foothill Ranch wasn’t too bad for being a blindside. Got out and looked once and did a couple pull ups but otherwise not bad. Now i’m in Ontario getting these two crates off. Apparently the load i’m picking up in Fontana is a broker load. Going to Loveland, CO. The catch is that it’s going to the Sams Club part, not the Walmart part. So even though it’s the same building and lot, it’s a live unload there instead of a DNH for reasons that are above my pay grade. I did get dispatch to move the delivery date from Tuesday morning to Monday morning though, otherwise i would’ve been taking an unnecessary 34

 

Spring Cleaning. Truck is getting dropped off to get polished while I’m gone so I brought in the top hats to clean them up good.

 

this facility in Fontana is a fuster cluck and a half. I wanted to get out of here in good time but i don’t think that’s gonna happen. My only consolations is that A. i can split my logs so i don’t run out my 14 and B. it’s a Friday

 

Well after sending me to the third dock door i’m finally getting loaded. Some extra practice at backing i guess. The dock door i’m in now i had to do an alley dock back which i haven’t done since CDL school. Got in fine without tearing up the other guys truck on my blindside so mission accomplished

 

Polished??... God ####!... they make that ####ing blue shine any more the son of a ##### will turn into a smurf!!
