Got another check engine light also the starter cable broke off of my Apu and I had to fix that in the middle of the night

 

Hell if I didn't have one on I would think there was something wrong!.. ####ing aftertreatement ########!!!.. mine throws codes all the time and there is literally no fix for it I can go in and have them waste a half tank of fuel doing regens for 6-8 hours and within 1-2 weeks it is guaranteed to come back on... really has me questioning things long-term after the extended warranty expires.. if there was a way to get the POS deleted I wouldn't worry about much of anything.. that's Trucking anymore though all these #### trucks are designed to fail

 

I had council bluffs fix my last check engine light it took a few months to get another. Yep it's designed to need parts replaced often

 

My almost new truck has the same CEL. I was told to ignore it unless the truck drives differently, so i put a piece of electrical tape over it and rolled. haven’t had any drivability problems

maybe you should try the electrical tape solution

 

Problem is it starts consuming DEF at a much higher rate after awhile. Like 1/2 tank every 1k miles!

 

That's about normal for my Volvo's D13 (w/20 gal tank)

 

This is the code whatever that means

 

It ain't normal on these freightliners. Under normal conditions they get over 3k on a full tank, I think it's 23-24 gal.

 

This oughta be the motto for most of these worthless ####ing shops anymore. Especially Freightliner & Interstate Power in Omaha!

 

Mine usually gets 2-3k miles before I have a empty tank of def I like to get def at Kwik trip star in Iowa usually $2.80 a gallon for def is not bad
