Up there June snow seems to happen yearly.
I've seen Memorial day weekend snow in So Cal mountains/ mountain range west of Las Vegas a few times and that's way South.

I've seen it snow in Southern Oregon/Northern California in June to the point they had chain law up on Hwy 97. I've also seen it snow in the Southern California mountains on Memorial Day weekend. I've also read that it can snow in Calgary in July which is really crazy.

True, chill air from the Arctic has swept through the UK, but the snow was only forecast on hills and mountains in Scotland, and even then it amounted to only a dusting. In fact, snowfall is not so unusual in June and happens around every three to five years, but this latest spell of snow lasted longer than expected.Jun 7, 2024Flat Earth Trucker and Sirscrapntruckalot Thank this. -
