212 is showing closed in Wyoming and South Dakota has no travel advised west of Belle Fourche. At least there’s decent food in Alzada.

 

I spent the night in Box Elder, so far I-90 has been uneventful. They are predicting a dense fog advisory/warning between Mitchell and Sioux Falls, but that will expire before you get there.

This is 15 min from Sioux Falls and 33° (the dashcam can see thru the fog better than I can)

 

i think i’m governed 1 mph faster than you so eventually i would LOL

not that it matters since i’ve mainly been running 66

 

Pulled into Alzada and like @Long FLD said, 212 is closed ahead and the place is slammed with trucks. It would also explain the lack of hardly any traffic on 212

 

Don’t ya hate when that happens.

 

i can usually find alternate routes around road closures but this is the first time that even my alternate route is shut down. MT’s stretch of 212 was in good shape so the roads must’ve fallen to #### at the state line
