FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Two years ago, after the late December ice storm, I was driving home empty to Michigan after dropping in eastern Ohio. The roads were ice. I was on the Ohio TP, and a huge gust of wind pushed me into the median barricade. Seriously damaged the truck. The next day the TP was shut down because of pileups resulting in injuries and death. I ended up driving a rental home on Christmas Eve, on Hwy 2. Cars everywhere.

 

They said here near Jefferson City, Mo we were supposed to get 5”-8” but now back down to 1”-3”. Illinois in some parts expecting 13”.

 

If I don’t feel comfortable driving on the roads I’ll be the first to sit and wait it out for a bit. The one call that I never want to make is to call my boss and tell them that I damaged their equipment.

 

I'm sure they are, but can't confirm, lol.

 

I’m supposed to be going home the middle of next week and they’re calling for snow and ice in the Houston area… Oh how fun this is gonna be..

Things moving along pretty good and looks like as soon as the clearinghouse gets their act together I’ll be headed up to Fremont.

If drivers are anything like the ones around Grenada, Mississippi then it’s going to be mayhem from the start!

 

don’t you love it when you show up somewhere to deliver and no one knows what’s happening or what to do with the stuff you have?

And i thought actually getting to this place would be the hardest part
