FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Well, the wheel seal that was replaced Saturday is leaking again. Also leaking from the passenger front drive (that looks like a hubcap as all the oil is in the outside wheel).

Started my day yesterday at 2:30a to get from Gary IN to Council Bluffs to beat any of the snow. Looks like the wind kept the snow below 80. Got to CB and DVIRd my trailer as all good boys should do, dropped it and headed to Fremont.

I have 3.5hrs on my 70 left, so message dispatch this morning to let him know my intentions (unless he advises otherwise) to finish a 34, and load up my tarps and chains at some point today (a warmer point).

Go inside to check the fixtures in the restroom, run into Travis in the hallway. Get back in the truck and 4 mins later a mechanic is knocking ready to do an oil change on the truck.

It could ALWAYS be worse.

16 fulls days at home
3 days I got home before noon (not included in 16)
3 days leaving home in the morning (not included in 16)

 

Final dilemma. Do i trust that Atlanta will be nice tomorrow or do i avoid it entirely and route through Columbus, GA

 

Do you trust a fart?

 

Atlanta is generally never nice to go through unless it’s 2 AM

 

Even then it’s not nice.

What time would you hit it? I've had plenty of luck either before 6 or after 9am.
