I think i'd fit even less in those trucks than even Macks. And aren’t all their trucks essentially flat tops?Friend and motocross25 Thank this.

Well yes but in the Kenworths you step down into the bunk area. It’s a little snug but I’m never out all week. I meant to ask how did it go at Titan Wheel?4mer trucker and Friend Thank this.

it went well. I stayed the night at the Quincy Walmart and pulled in about 0800 this morning. I was gone by 0930. Only issue i had was that there was a concrete truck parked on the other side of the intersection i had to turn right at to get back to Broadway, so i had to maneuver as far left as i could and take up the whole street so i didn’t take out the power pole on the corner. Other than that, no major issues getting to and from the shipper. Took 61 north to Mt. Pleasant, IA and then swung over to Des Moines for something new to see. I will deliver this in the morning and then head to Bellevue for a load to TexasFriend, Knucklehead and motocross25 Thank this.

i will say, whoever fills in for DM’s when they’re gone (i believe his name is Scott) is great at what he does. Certainly a lot more personality than old man Tim (not that he has a bad personality or anything)
Friend, Knucklehead and Kolorado Thank this. -
What brand of truck are you looking to drive? I think you will be looking at trade offs no matter what. If you don’t like Freightliner, Mack, and Paccar products that only leaves you Volvo and IH.Friend and Knucklehead Thank this.

Since they don’t have Peterbilts anymore, a Kenworth or Volvo. I can A. fit in those and B. sit properly in them (aka not sitting on the floor so i can actually see out the windshield, which exacerbates problem A significantly) Had i known this would happen i would’ve told them they can take my 579 as soon as they pry the keys from my cold dead hands. I actually found a spare key for 1611 in my car a couple months back, oops
