This week I ran to Four Oaks for the first time in forever. Always liked running there. Easy in/out and street parking after/before drop.
I hate the darn dark windows on the guard shack as it just makes it wierd (and I think harder) to communicate with a voice you hear through the slot.
anyway, nice to get back there.

I like how FCC does their maintenance stuff for IC's. Called in last week to get a grease job done on my truck. Not much changes from that standpoint other than you telling them what you want done.
Got a receipt the next day and it was billed automatically out of my maintenance account on the next settlement. No need to do anything on my end.Goody3635, Friend, runningman0661 and 1 other person Thank this. -
2500 miles is doable in 5 days. I personally stay out a week and a half (or i will be), so i regularly turn 3000-3500 on a full week.
I'd say average length of haul is 500-600. The vast majority of our freight falls within those boundaries. 450 on the lower end. We do have a couple 2-300 mile runs but those are few and far in-between. Our Albuquerque loads are around 8-900 depending on where you pick up. We have a load out of Espanola, NM that goes to Windsor, WI and that's 1300 and some change. Just did that load last week. That's about the longest we have in my experience.
Yes you can park at the Dallas drop yard. It's just south of I-20 off Bonnie View Rd. Other drivers park their rigs and personal vehicles thereFriend, Lonwolv54 and Knucklehead Thank this. -
I prefer to get the grease service at FCC at time of 90 day inspection it's too expensive to do regularly there much cheaper at loves or sapps or ta

After my bout of whatever the #### i had, left town yesterday and delivered in Dallas this morning. Picked up at another place ive never been to before not too far from where I delivered. It's a bunch of contractor grade paper rolls going to Home Depot in Topeka.

I don’t know what they charge but a grease gun and some grease is awfully cheap plus it gets you under your truck every couple weeks.
