Maybe Ryan was right. He told me at some point after he left that he wouldn't be surprised at all if FCC was sold in the next few years

Guess it's time to seriously look for something else to do, or a new profession in my case

 

There’s been a lot of good carriers in the past that have been bought out and taken over by the mega turds. FCC is probably next on the list.

 

Well, the usual suspects are pretty much maxed out on purchasing capital. Heartland has had so many negative quarters that I doubt they're in a position to buy. Knight/Swift, again, has bought up so many companies that I doubt they're in a financial position to buy. Werner....maybe they'll use some of that government driver training revenue, but I doubt....maybe Creaffer might be expanding into Fremont and found a way to adopt a better class of drivers since we seem to only attract seat warmers lately and ya'll will get to experience the nanny system 1st hand ....unless TFI....no, I wouldn't wish that experience on any decent company, forget I mentioned them.

 

If that happens, you’ve usually got a couple years before things start to slide south.

because we drive red and white equipment in a fairly similar color scheme

Don't jump to conclusions just yet you just have to wait and see what happens next we don't know what actually happened behind the scenes or not. Better to have hope than to suggest otherwise. Probably need to wait for the next safety meeting.
