Petro truck stop hit by Va tornado.

This has to be bad. ring ring ring ring ring, "dispatch" Ya I'm so an so and my truck is on its side." "are you ok?" ya but shaken. youll never believe how it happened! "how?" a tornado blew me over and a whole bunch of other trucks and messed up the whole area. "ok, hand in there and we'll see what we can do"
etc etc etc.

Definitely had to be a rought night for all that were there.

 

Drove by there last night about 2300. It was so calm it was almost eerie. I noticed 4 or 5 trucks still in the parking lot with little damage to them. I'm hoping those drivers are just in the hospital and didn't perish while trying to take cover somewhere.

 

I wasn't aware anyone else was talking about it accept myself...

Glade Springs, VA I-81 Pilot destroyed!
That 2 days was crazy! I drove down to Dallas through Tuscaloosa & Birmingham, AL on I20 when the storms destroyed TN, then I come back up through I30 in TN when they came up through AL, GA, NC, VA. I was supposed to go to this truckstop and stay, but stopped in Crossville, TN cause weather sucked...the next day this is what I saw.....WHOAAA...........

The driving internet surfer posted his own little thread about this. He should of just done a search first. But I guess that is impossible when your driving down the road. The moderation staff merged the threads.
