I stay at the TA east in Ontario and have NEVER been bothered. I am female, drive by myself and don't hesitate going there. The only thing is the sticker shock at the gate. It's $20 to park there if you don't fuel, or spend however much in store.
-
Look up Schneider and Swift in Fontana on Google. You can park on any one of those streets. You'll see the trucks parked from your computer.
-
Yea, there is a couple there in Ontario. You either have to buy fuel or pay to park. The ones near LA are ones that you can only park for a bit. There is one in Palm Springs (Pilot). But it is kinda small. We had a small yard in Ontario. I didn't even like going there. LA is not truck friendly. Your best bet is probably Ontario.

I have to second this comment. I've stayed at the TA west and have never had a problem or felt unsafe. Of course, I don't go wandering around at midnight either. The only problem i had was spending $20 on food so I didn't have to pay it in parking! Your other choice is 50 gallons of fuel, which isn't an option for me.
If you do decide to stay there, leave REALLY early to get over to Vernon on time. Rush hour starts early around there. -
there is or used to be a little truckstop in vernon. very well known truck wash there.
-
If you're emptying out that early in Vernon, look for the McDonald's on Soto across the street from the meat plant. They have a few parking spots for big trucks, but you shouldn't have a problem snagging a spot in the morning. Sign says, 1 hour parking for big trucks though nobody enforces it.

Ontario (East Side) is the best bet. If you don't fuel buy a shower and a meal, and you have free parking. Costco in Mira Loma is very nice to go to. There is a Farmer Boys burger shop at the light near there. They have room for about 20 trucks. Cowboys is a resturant going south on Etiwanda from I-10. Small fee, but worth it. If you park there, go south to Riverside Drive (Farmer Boys) turn right and Costco is on the left. Hope this helps.

palm springs is quite the drive from LA.
ontario is all i know of. LA for the most part don't like trucks parking in there city. prejudiced A holes
