    I had my interview with GFS which turned into more of a conversation and anyhow I was offered a job at GFS. So kind of excited, going to be a big change.

    Gordon Food Service of Grand Rapids, Michigan. They are a head to head competitor to Sysco and US Foods. They are growing like crazy they have a big warehouse in Springfield, Ohio you can see it from I-70. They also have a big warehouse in Shepardsville, Kentucky and Brighton, MI and are building a real big warehouse out side of Pittsburgh, PA and have a big plant in Plant City, Florida.

    Stouffer's makes Stouffer's Lasagna...not GFS. And it IS quite tasty.....but I am not gonna credit the store that sold it to me for the quality of the product.

    Here in west Michigan GFS is huge. I would say they definitely out sell Sysco. I will see four GFS trucks on the road for every Sysco truck.

    Yeah Gordon Food Service a GFS Canada Company same company. They cover all of Canada and 22 states here in the United States. The corporate head quarters office is Grand Rapids, MI. GFS Canada I think has some B-Trains and for what ever reason 10 wheel straight trucks are very popular in Canada GFS Canada has quite a few. Here in the states GFS is 28' trailers for the broad line and 48-50 footers for the chain alliance and the grocery stores.
