Delivered at Armstrong World in LA today from Point Comfort, TX. Drove to CNF/Fontana to drop my trailer and then drove to Westrux Int’l in Colton for an alignment, but we found out it will take about three days. So was told to go to Westrux Int’l in Sante Fe Springs first thing in the morning instead. So I’m spending the night tonight at CNF/Fontana.

I hope things going good for ya there. I was one of those return drivers at one point and time. I had a good few years at Conway all jokes aside. I just couldn't get along with many people in Jop MO. I had 6 fleet managers in a 3 yr span. 4 of those 6 were fired after I fired them. That should tell u something. All the local hauling I had enough of and running up and down I35 in Texas got real old. The Waco runs at least twice a week as well. The only people I really cared for was my people in West Memphis Ms Ruthie, Clark, Medina. Nothing but love for them. If I could work there only for them I would still be there.

Ruthie in West Memphis, Tom in Joplin, & Julie in Taylor were are very pleasant to deal with. Don't think I got any special favors, but they truly acted as though we were all part of the same team.
I recall office folks in Lancaster & Laredo generally being a bit more... brusque.CargoWahgo Thanks this. -
Yea Tom was okay too forgot about him local dispatch in Joplin wasn't that bad. Never dealt with Taylor too much. Was just in and out of there when I did go didn't know many of them in local there. I tried to avoid that terminal like the plague.
Edit: Is it true they sold Lancaster?? Or am I being lied to? -
Heard some noises that we didn't own it and lost the lease. Expecting to see it gone sometime this year. Don't need a full blown terminal there since the dispatching is done out of Joplin...I wonder what those dispatchers are doing when they are constantly looking at the screens.
A drop yard a few miles south would be much less expensive. Tried to call the suggestion line, couldn't call the suggestion line, cuz I couldn't get a live person in Joplin to tell me the extension!paul_4lp Thanks this.
