    READ!!

First ........... I wrote that I set the cruise if you get up my butt. Nowhere did I say that I wouldn't slow a bit to let a super trucker wanna-be get by.

Second ......... I'm not "a mega". I own my truck.

Third ........ The motoring public thinks we suck REGARDLESS of the situation.

I will come off the throttle when I see someone pass on a two lane but not on the interstate. I have a job to do and If my truck slows on the incline and if a guy tries to pass then gets bogged down on the hill and as we crest my cruise goes back up to speed and the poor idiot cannot pass on the flat, I'm not slowing down to let him over in front of me, why would I want to be in a situation where a guy who cannot pass me probably cannot maintain adequate forward distance in front of me causing me to go slower than I was originally going when he was behind me? I hate it when guys pass and 4 miles later I'm magically gaining on them while still set in my original cruising speed. It means they would have been fine staying behind me.

Exactly. A buddy of mine has a saying when it comes to today's trucker. Their mentality is "Hooray for me and #### You". He is 100% correct. I see it everyday.

i drive a lot more 2 lane than 4 lane and yes esp if you are going to run 10 under the limit to try to save fuel come into a town with a wide paved shoulder reduced speed zone and just let the 40 trucks behind you go by your obviously not in a hurry anyway.

had a truck today running under the limit i was heavy 95k i start passing and he guns it hung me out in the oncoming lane till i hit 85mph and i finally pulled past him. good way to really piss a guy off.

Did they have California tags? If anyone does that speed up stuff on me, it's a no name California carrier.

didn't really notice probably not though it was a hopper bottom. it seems to happen way more often than it should. there is no point in it. ill back out of it if another truck is coming around on a 2 lane unless im heavy pulling a grade and there empty plenty of room and they have a pretty good clip on me then ill stay in the throttle but otherwise, if someone wants to run faster than me and go around ill back out of it. if you ask on the radio ill even help find you a opportunity to get around.
