This is like weekend of Werner or something, Ive never seen so many people ask questions that happen to perfectly match something Werner has.
Werner has some dedicated runs out of Jacksonville, mostly hauling beer. The pay is not going to be any lower than $500 takehome, and you will be home at least once a week, probably more. Its heavy loads, but they have good trucks, good trailers, and will fix anything requested.
If you really really need good money, Werner team division makes a killing, and gets treated really well. From personal experience, both on their team division, and to a lesser extent on their dedicated divisions. They have a teaming home depot over in Lake Park, but Im not sure what the hiring area is.
I always made a steady living on dedicated, but made excellent money teaming. As you can see from the paycheck I posted on other threads, my team paychecks were $1200-1300 gross on average.Lightside Thanks this. -

I started driving down in Jacksonville way back in 1978. The trouble with that location is very few companies do any distance driving. They are stuck in the middle of nowhere. So if you find a company you like I wouldn't hee-haw around and go for it. That is after you check them out including a terminal visit of course.
