Poly Trucking What you need to know !

My compressor locked causing a burnt belt, but since cummins isx still used multiple belts on that year Prostar, it could run without it. Maxxforce has only 1 belt, so if the compressor locks on the road, they have no choice but to fix it.

 

I'm not interested in working at Poly. I love my gig.

I just ran into a couple of your drivers and stumbled onto this forum.

Basically, this thread is more interesting/entertaining reading than most. Lol

 

Anything that benefits the co. is usually at the expense of the driver.

 

Why did you stop in Phoenix, screw that. Get rolled back to Henderson or a load going back to GP and get it fixed. 5 or 6 loaners available at Poly West that you could have used while yours was getting fixed in Vegas.

 

I'm glad I left them.. They are one of those companies that can't help but take one step forward and five steps back.. Just can't say much at all good about them. And to all that are considering Poly, all this bad @#$% you've read in these forums, they are real. Make no mistake about it.

I left about a month ago... if so it was only so I can say what I need to say without the Poly Poster Children wanting to do a search and destroy on my ###.. You work there, you know what happens around there when folks shed light on a dark place. Poly when I first started was great, but I soon found out the only fool was me to believe in half the crap they told me.

 

After Phoenix the a/c worked for a few days, now I'm stuck in Laredo while international fixes it again! and it broke down 2 times between the time I left phoenix and got to Laredo, for things other than the A/C.

The other dayPoly called to ask if I wanted to try out the new e-logs they're installing in trucks.

I think it's time I start looking for a good truck to buy and sign on with Landstar.

Right now, I've amassed over $1,000 in hotel charges, on my credit card, not theirs !!

Let's see how long it takes them to reimburse me this time. One time it took them 2 months. The most recent time they were relatively quicker.

 

I had just driven from St. Paul to texas and then Phoenix w/no a/c.

I'm no cowboy, My fat dough boy ### couldn't go another 10 feet w/o a/c.

I was so dead exhausted I was looking for an indian so they could tie me to a post and just burn me alive!

Are the loaners in Henderson as good as the ones in G.P.?

 

I would say "only if it's attached to a NEW truck, and not just a new-to-me truck"
