They appear to have a staging area outside the gate... I'd call and see... Looks promising

They have a staging area with onsite parking. Also, a Walmart right up the road, with another place across the street with some truck parking.

How odd, haven't been there in awhile. Just drove by it yesterday coming down 75 and now it comes up here. Small world, eh?

So... My onguard actually kicked in and slammed on the brakes for a second today while passing under a bridge. There were cones beside the lane, but nothing in my Lane but the shadow from the bridge. Scared the crap out of me lol. Someone said something about this happening yesterday. It actually happened to me!

Haven't had mine hit the brakes on a shadow yet. Mine has done it several times when a vehicle in front of me merges to an exit ramp and the system for some reason thinks we're still in the same lane.
I think mine needs to be calibrated. The distance it says I am behind someone and my count of "mississippi's" are way off. It seems to start beeping at me further back than it used to.

Onguard and Wingman(at least the Wingman on our trucks) are radar based, so unless it's a cloaking device hiding a solid object, a shadow won't trigger it. However, it might be picking up the object throwing the shadow. And if the road is especially rough, it could be picking up something completely out of your path. Not sure if Wingman is the same, but OnGuard is gyroscope controlled, so when you are going around a curve, it's aim is adjusted to your path by the centrifugal force, and rough roads affect it's aim. Those camera based systems may pick up shadows, but radar isn't fooled by them.

Both systems suck. Glad I don't have to deal with them. My truck has this lane departure warning system. Haven't been able to set it off yet. In a '14 T680.

Unloading at Pepsi in Burnsville in the morning, then down the road to Lakeville, MN for a load going to Grandview, WA for Monday delivery. Any recommending parking places near there?

Lol you'll be following me out, delivering my birds on Saturday. There's a small truckstop in Grandview and a Walmart...have you done a trip out west yet?
