Arrived at my 2100 Lakeland MN appt. The kind lady at the window was trying to tell me something, but all I could hear was "take our free money... go get some sleep... well pay you $15 an hour to sleep. Something about being held here for a while."

I just saw that...sometimes the fingers are faster then the brain, sometimes the brain is faster.

But i fixed it....

 

Meeting more and more of our regulars here in person. But I hear the same comment kinda often..."you're not how I pictured you"...all part of a well mastered plan...the art of blending in inconspicuously, this allows me to say what I need to say without fearing for my safety.

Ohhhh sheesh well HELLO!!!

 

It was nice running into you @Winnyf1 & also getting to meet @WalterSobchak I'm finely in Fargo in my truck got the heater going & sleeping here @ the yard woohoo sooo excited :^D

 

Fueled in BFE, AR this evening and went in to get some coffee and a couple of corn dogs.

7 people in line and some guy cuts right in front of me (the cashier had closed the counter I was on without telling anyone and opened up at another one) and this guy cuts in front of everyone to pay for fuel. About 4 of us start raising Hell and the guy says: ""I'm in a real hurry, gotta be in Ft. Smith in XYZ" And so everyone is giving the guy Hell, I mean, I'm waiting for the other three guys to start throwing punches here, because the cutter was suck a jerk. (I don't want to go to jail OR get my butt kicked, so throwing punches was not on my list of options).

Anyway, I paid for my stuff and realize Mr. "I'm in a Hurry" Is behind me, fueling up. There's a truck behind him, so I go to the guy behind him, explain what happened and ask if he's got some time to burn. He smiles like a Cheshire cat and says: Yep, I need a nap, and goes into his sleeper.

Long story short, the guy got to sit there while I took 30 minutes in front of him after he got done fueling. (I had time to burn). I got out out of the truck after the guy is about apoplectic and went over and asked: "So how long is it going to take you to get to Ft. Smith NOW?"

My little part in delivering some instant Karma.

PS: If the guy had ASKED, I would have happily let him take my place in line, and probably so would everyone else.

 

Big day yesterday for me in Coon Rapids! Introduced myself to Ashley for the first time the third time. Had lunch with Winnyf1. I also got to meet gdyupgal and THE supersnackbar who was smiling and laughing! What is the world coming to?

In between all that, my truck got a long list of PM services and my clutch brake got a much needed adjustment.
