    The one @MachoCyclone showed a few pages back had him getting ~50 gallons at Loves in Houston.

    I never had one that showed Loves in Houston. It was Pilot. Loves won't ever be on the fuel solution. TA and Petro will be from time to time.

    Was able to top off my tanks for a couple loads in a row and get a true accurate mpg for the week.

    3255 miles against 462 gallons = 7 miles per gallon.

    PFJ posted average price for the week was $2.67
    JCT discount against that = $2.52
    Price I actually averaged = $2.26

    Saved = $120 bucks over JCT's discount.

    That savings is great, but that fuel economy is awful.

    If I remember, you have a 14. Any speed above 58 mph is a waste of fuel in that truck the way it's spec'd out. I got almost 8.5 MPG in mine over the course of 3 years.

    7 does seem a little low. My 30 day avg is 7.53mpg.

    What rpm are you running? It's been my experience that I get best performance at 1200-1250rpm on the flat and 1400rpm pulling the mountains.

    I had been running pretty hard on those miles, the lanes were Salinas CA to Dallas TX, Fort Worth TX to Houston TX, Carthage TX to Tracy CA, Lathrop to Mt Crawford VA ( currently in AR).

    So there was a lot of climbing the continental divide up and down NM and AZ in there.

    Topped off again this AM, 87 gallons against the last 697 miles which brings my average up to 7.19 mpg now that I am on flatter ground. Been running on recaps so have been running in the upper rpms and speed to make otd's.
