You have the option of talking about your specific fuel economy performance - miles is miles, however fuel mileage can be adjusted depending on engine issues etc.
I agree with @ncmickey we need. To see what the Oct numbers are before stressing out. You are almost done and hopefully you can execute your plan after making just a bit more than you thought you'd make and find a new company with better medical and a more traditional pay package.
Pay for performance is something you need to manage, lol I'm already looking at my miles this month and thinking about what it will mean for the next few months... -
Holland is low on cpm tho. It's like .37-.38 IIRC. Insurance is really high too. And then there's the matter of the escrow account.

I had my usual 1 good month per trimester, but now I am back to my usual 22-2300 miles per week.
I don't need to see the posted miles because I keep track of my loads myself. The only thing I can't keep track of right away are the deadhead miles that don't show up on the drilldown all the time since the system update, so I know pretty much what miles I have turned and know how many layover miles I will be credited...so my October numbers aren't going to be a surprise once they are posted.
I can't manage miles, I can only run what is offered and if miles aren't offered, I can't run them. And if speaking to those in charge doesn't change those miles, then I am in the position I'm in now. -
Well you've done your research and had a foot out the door anyway so....at least you are prepared and have options which puts you in a better place than others who might also find themselves in a bad position.

I am looking at companies closer to home. Since I live in the southeast, I am looking at a more regional position. I've seen all corners of the US, so I have no need for a coast to coast OTR company any more, and contrary to popular opinion, there are companies that have reasonable pay AND more reasonable health insurance rates. I think Magnum's insurance rates are just a victim of their location. Insurance rates are partially based on the average cost per resident of the region they are located. Since the oil patch is in their region, the costs of health care in that area are elevated due to the nature of the jobs in that industry and the remote location. That cost raises premium rates for the whole area, not just here. Other areas have lower rates which make it a more desirable location for me to work.

SSB have you given Millis a look yet? they are a training company, but they pay pretty good, and happen to have a terminal in Cartersville GA. I believe experinced drivers do well there. Just an idea..... Good luck

We all have bad weeks...
I had a bad week 2 weeks ago... then had 3400 last week. I don't judge the next month by the 1st week of the month...
Seems to me the only thing that's changed is your attitude. Nothing wrong with that. Was just a matter of time. And it's who you are. We still love ya!!
And you are completely right about the health care -
I don't think I did anything special. I just showed up (it was in the evening, just after sunset). It was a favor for Jeremy. I picked up "my" load already, and since I was in the area, he asked if I could drop in Greensboro and grab this load real quick and take it to Greensboro. Maybe he made some sort of agreement with them. But I was there about 2 hours earlier than the load offer said I was supposed to be there and they got me right in. I was also the only one there.Holo989 Thanks this.
