Went ahead and put in the request for the shop at the yard to get the HVAC on the APU fixed. Figured might as well since the load I have is going to Ochelata and I will be in that area anyway. Might even go ahead and knock out a 34.

I picked up at JBS in Tolleson, az. Drives were overweight with only a 1/4 of fuel in the tanks. I asked them to rework it, so that it will be legal and so I can put fuel in the truck. The guy at the desk said they don't take fuel weight into consideration when loading a trailer.

Long story short I convinced them to rework it or else that trailer isn't making it to FL. It's irritating that I had to get nasty with them just so they'd load the trailer correctly. Even if it was a dry van it's common sense not to put all the heaviest pallets in the nose of the trailer.

You know those special needs guys that McDonalds hires to bring your food out to you, and stare at you while you eat it? Yeah well somehow these guys must moonlight as lumpers for JBS.

That's why I don't show up at any shipper (especially meat plants) with less than half a tank of fuel.

While it's the shippers responsibility to ensure the load is loaded legally (gross and axle); they aren't required to take into account if the trucks fuel needs.

Heh I just picked up there this morning. Well 3 hours ago.

And I don't see why they would even get uppity about it if it was already overweight. They have to rework it anyways.

Because they can get away with it and do because a lot drivers don't say anything.

Have to wonder the effectiveness of all this. Really, removing the landing gear feet? The #### legs cause more drag than the feet. Can't see it in the pics, hidden by the shadow, the end of the tractor frame has some type thing (looks like a small ramp was bolted to the frame) on it.

That is some serious mad scientist modifications to that truck and trailer. He was like, #### paying for an actual flow below kit. I'm going to rivet trash can lids and metal siding to my rig.

That driver may have been popped in the past for unsecured load CSA report-- they can write it up for that if they find even one single piece of gravel traveling on the landing gear feet. My guess is the driver will not be getting written up for that again lol
