Right on! Score one for the working man. 10 grand punitive cash is nice too.

Inspiring. I'm about to head over to OSHA.

Should;ve been awarded more money, hit those #### rich greedy corporations where it hurts. 10K is nothing to them.
chalupa Thanks this. -
Good for the driver but there's a downside here.....revenge! There's no way a carrier is going to let a mere driver get over on them like this.....he's a short timer under any circumstances. They may be checked for the moment but they'll be back.......
Seen it before......a former employer of mine even hired and trained a PI to bird dog the hand.......took 6 mos but they got him.

But think of the pandemonium if there were no Doritos on the shelves for a day. The horror....

Correct me if I'm wrong...but shouldn't it be the FMCSA not the STAA? I thought the STAA was the Surface Transportation Acquisition Act...i.e. the 53' trailer routes...the FMCSA governs the rules about sick or fatigued driving...maybe I'm confused...I am getting old. Either way, good for him!!

I just learned what a DAC consists of..seem that could be the drivers next obstacle. Vindictive employer apt to try take one last kick at the can. What a PIA it must be to keep on top of all these regulatory agencies.
