A dog that big would be great for the grand kids, put a saddle on him and they could ride him around...if ya' could afford to feed him.

A kid I went to school with lived next to a couple that had 2 danes (not as big as the pic). They bought a Volvo station wagon to haul them around. The dogs soon discovered that the car had an auto-leveling air suspension(from a battery powered air compressor)...the people had to lock the car in the garage because the dogs would take turns stepping on the back bumper raising and lowering the suspension until the battery would go dead. They also would play chase the basket ball, and they woudn't give up until it was flat, and you thought throwing a tennis ball for a dog was tough on the arm.

I never thought I'd miss work. But it sure does feel good to be back in the truck!

    Grand Rapids, MI to Fargo!

As I sit here getting loaded, part of me wants to go through Michigan's UP instead of going around Chicago. Anyone have insight on that? It's about 150 miles longer.

    mxpx148 Thanks this.

Sure the miles are ok, but you know some of the roads will be interesting, especially if the vacationers are out...

BTW, thanks to @Xeres63 for replacing the shower curtain in the Coon Rapids men's room!

Don't confuse it for a simple act of kindness. That curtain has seen things, horrible things, savage things that should never be spoken of. I hope he burned the old one and disposed of the ashes in a different part of the city.

    Jake997, Xeres63 and Crusader66 Thank this.

BTW, after blowing my diet on hometime with Bojangles and Dos Equis with lime, I'm back out tomorrow afternoon with a Kay Chem in Winston Salem, NC going to Wilmington, Il.

    Xeres63 and ncmickey Thank this.

Well here I sit on home time. Had to make a delivery in Walkerton, IN and now I am off until Thursday. Hopefully I get a good run out.

I know that the bridge toll is $25. I wouldn't mind going that route. I want to check out the new Meijer stores going in up there.
