The brake chamber caught me off guard. I stopped for lunch and everything seemed fine. There was no sign of even a slight leak. Came out, pushed the button, and away went all the air. Couldn't move. Came out of nowhere.

 

Anyone go to the Walmart near the Coon Rapids Yard?

Made my delivery this evening at Ecolab in Joliet IL.
Got a pick up in St Elmo's IL tomorrow with a Monday AM delivery in Loveland CO. Then reload going out to Washington State.....
That makes me smile coming off of hometime....

 

Yeah you can also go across the street (by the Best Buy) to Cub foods which is also a good grocery store option. Or Aldi's by the Outback which is a discount grocery store so you have options.

 

I heard breakdown speaking to you. I was waiting on my truck to get the pm finished.

 

There were times I would come out of the store and it looked like a Magnum terminal so many drivers were in there shopping. As long as you aren't spending the night...just there spending money is o.k. with them.

 

Learned something new today while delivering to Reinhardt in Cincinnati. It took 6.25 hrs to offload 10 pallets and sort them which is of course way to long.

Shannon called me and asked what happened, I gave her my thoughts that because the location implemented lumpers the staff slow walked the check-in. She said that if ever I was at a Reinhardt and it was taking over 2 hrs give her a call so she could look into things and try to move things along...

 

In some ways I miss reefer freight...until I hear stories like that.
