CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

Petro in Glendale, KY for the night. What are the odds that I leave with 3 new batteries in the morning... Darn thing barely started this morning... motor off for 5 hours... the only things running was the cooler and radio

 

Sounds like they have no choice. Get you some new batteries. BTW, only 3? My 680 has 4, and I have an APU. Go figure.

 

There might be 4... never looked.

Load tested, charging system and batteries all good... guess when I am tight for time I will idle and when I have time to kill I will have them pay for service calls

Here's an idle observation for you guys... The state of Indiana has no golfers.

I passed three golf courses yesterday Saturday, and I didn't see a single golfer on any of those courses... There was sunny, 79°, and not a single golfer, go figure.

The only thing I can think of is they're waiting for the heat waves to end like sometime in November. Next February they'll all be saying, geez I wish I played golf back on August 26th when I had the chance...

It's a 2017 model, I'm guessing it was a team truck, they probably never shut it off more than an hour

 

Well, I drove 2 hours today. As I'm being unloaded, I get a pre-plan picking up tonight at 2200 in Locust Grove Georgia, and heading to Jacksonville... Guess I'm switching to the night shift.

I'm betting there is a relay to Miami in my future or a Michaels Load with three stops on the west coast of Florida...

I prefer Miami believe it or not, shopping centers in Florida have too many Planters and trees and bushes and flowers no room for trucks... Up north the shopping centers are wide open because they have to plow the snow... Guess the snow emergencies been cancelled in Florida

 

How is the new cfi? Considering them as an option
