I am at the point now where if I am not getting unloaded as soon as I arrive I don't ever want to go back.

I am going to irritate myself out of the business at some point.

I have arrived at zero tolerance.

I don't like places that are not FCFS and fast.

Like I said...I've got one, but don't plan on plugging it in until I hit day #9 and lose exempt status...and as soon as I'm back within 8 days or fewer in 30, it'll be unplugged again. My paper logs were no different...any day I met the 100 air mile radius requisites, my entire day was line 4. Only logged duty status changes on the days I wasn't exempt.

Some brokers don't want to tell you where exactly is the pick up or delivery. So, before I sign the confirmation I read it and if the confirmation is telling me to go to a place where shippers or receivers take more than 4 hrs to unload or load before I sign I ask for $ 500.00 more if the broker agrees, I get a new and revised confirmation or I refused the load, period.

The 70-hour rule is my least favorite. It imparts the most "gamey" aspects of the rules.

Truckers need to band together against FMCSA and any corporate scum that tells us how to live, when to sleep, when to take a break.
