Needed to make some money.supersnackbar Thanks this. -
He's also driving an international lol. He did a few jobs that didn't work out. Needed to make some money so he didn't lose out on his monthly expectation out of SSI so he's back.

We got to give him an A for effort.
At least he tried to get away from these trucks.
He ain't the first and won't be the last to come back.
its a whole lot easier if your home is paid for.
You can live off of a whole lot less money. -
My Poly Trucking experience
This is a shortened version that I did for a year that should give you an idea of what is possible if you are on point with this company. I live in Vegas and have to agree with some of the above posts that this is just about the best OTR gig you can get if you learn the system and want to work hard to bang out some big paychecks. Like another poster I have received exactly 0.00 from referring any driver on here in over 5 years and that is not the reason I post anyway. I only try to give folks thinking about coming over here an idea of what is possible as you shouldn't have to bust your ### in this industry working for peanuts if you have a good driving record. You can tell folks until your blue in the face about how good we have it here in comparision to most every other driving outfit out there and they just don't believe you. I was basically called a liar or a recruiter by some fool because I said I would likely gross 90+K last year with over two months of home time. Well I grossed a shade over 93K and they can kiss my white ###
I ran like Western Flyer as well, I ain't one to sit at a terminal waiting on a load to some specific destination, I like certain runs over others but if the only thing available is a run going into the 9th plane of hell and I have to jump in a loaner to do it then put my name on it.
You just have basically no ######## to deal with from anyone here as long as you do your job unlike all the pestering and nonsense I had to deal with with Roehl and Crete via QC or otherwise. Being out of the Henderson terminal is golden in my opinion. You only have to turn in your paperwork when you reach your home terminal so I was able to just stockpile trip after trip after trip piling up an extra 30.00 for every pickup and delivery until I went home. I have never has a problem getting a load out of here but I live here so went home after my drop in Henderson and would just put my name on the board for whenever I wanted to come back out, on rare occasions I got to spend an exra day at home due to no loads on the day I requested but no biggy. For drivers not living out here then rolling out to Henderson might be a problem occasionally getting an immediate load out of here but I never had to deal with that. -
drivers are a skeptical bunch, ive left jobs that ive tried to recommend to drivers, they always ask me why i left and figure it must be bad if i left, im like dont worry about why i left you decide if its for you lolWestern flyer Thanks this.

Western flyer Thanks this. -
I’m in Dallas area for a personal trip. Drove by Poly. Is the shop within the large manufacturing compound? I did see a lot of trucks parked on the corner of the property.
-
The shop is on the Poly compound west of the main entrance off of Marshall. The trucks are all suppose to park up in the front lot unless you are in the breakroom. There is a bunch of manufacturing facilities on the compound...they told me in when I went thru orientation, their entire property is something like 800 acres (although they have a good bit of open spaces)JoeyJunk Thanks this.

The lot is also packed with (literally) 100 unassigned international trucks.
Last year they had to tow over a dozen to the dealership to start them, because they had been sitting there for over a year.
