I average around 3000 a week (12-13k a month). I go home every 4-5 weeks and never take less than 6 days off. I was off 9 this last time.

Average trip is around 1500-1800 miles. I run 48, but rarely go to the east coast. Western PA is about as far East as I go.

Ive done 20 miles one week or 1000 in a month or Ive done close to 30000 in a month and everything in between.

You can only go so fast.

Never mind the miles look at the pay versus the lost time sitting at the docks. If it is excessive you are not making money.

Do you know what May Trucking starts their truckers at? That all sounds good.

It’s based on experience. I don’t know what the minimum is. I think it might be .39 for students but, again, not sure. Max is .50 cpm.
