So say your running team at 60 cpm a d drive 6000 miles that's like 1800 dollars each? Vs the same miles and pay split at 30 cpm at 3000 miles in only 900 dollars so you double your money for the same mils??? Or am I miscaculating? If not whay are the best team companies? I read mast out of Philly pays up to 65 cpm 5000 to 7000 miles and a 40k sign on bonus!

40k sign on bonus? Dream on
-
There are companies that offer $30k and $50k sign on bonus's for teams. Transport America has offered 30 and US Express has offered 50. I cant speak about US Express but if Transport America says it then they will do it. They were a great company for me when i was there. These bonus's just are paid out over time that is the only real drawback to them and yes you do have to think about why do they need to offer such a deal. The simple answer is quality of freight and quality of business plan.

For me, no amount of money will ever be enough to get me to consider teaming. But the high bonuses are real and most are accelerated payouts inside 12 months. Things are changing quickly in the industry today. Most for the better if you can put up with all the increasing incidental BS every month
stwik and Farmerbob1 Thank this. -
For us it was ODFL.
6000 miles at .70 cpm - $2100 gross each driver.
They now pay closer to .75.stwik, Drivingotr4life and Dan.S Thank this. -

Read a Maverick billboard today "Up to $5,000 sign on bonus paid over 5 months". It's probably based on the amount of recent experience you bring to the table but it's still better than nothing.
Especially helps to pay for health care COBRA to the old carrier's plan for a few months until the new insurance kicks in, as well as other seniority benefits and quarterly bonus payouts you may be giving up.
Changing jobs, especially driving jobs, is a huge hassle and risk. It makes sense many see sign on bonuses as a necessity to attract experienced drivers.tman78, stwik and motocross25 Thank this. -
I like when companies are clear. Like, drivers may average up to or more than 40-60,000 per year.RedRover Thanks this.
