So small, I don't think a mega like Knight/Swift or Heartland would even consider a buyout...sounds like they need to merge with a smaller company like, ummmmmm, I dunno, maybe....Magnum

The first Celadon did this to its drivers, as did Premier, back around 2007-ish, I believe.

Or they could diversify and buy a glass hauler :)

They can have Wylie's glass division...we don't need the competition from our sister company

Okay, so my eyes about bugged out of my head when I saw the number 61 in Chad email! I literally had to sit down to keep from passing out! But, his second email only talked about an additional $0.03. So, after talking to Tony, he informed me that the 61 includes $0.03 for accessorial pay (this is what it averages out to according to management), $0.05 for HazMat, and the potential $0.03 bonus he's talkin about. That is how they arrive at $0.61. On the other hand, it seems very easy to achieve. I'm ready for my $0.03 raise! Oh, more good news... The idea of figuring a bonus based on the cameras in the truck has been tossed!

Actually unfortunately the $0.61 includes accessory pay like detention and stop pay.

The actual max with hazmat is $0.58 and without will be $0.53 assuming a $0.50 pay and the full bonus.

Dang, how can you add detention pay into cpm? Very artificial. However, the bonuses do sound easy to achieve. $50 for doing 2 videos a month and use cruise a lot and dont idle basically for 3 cents on paid miles for the month. So 10k miles a month would be an extra 350. Worth it.

I got in my truck Aug 1st, 2016 with under 198k miles on it.

    Today I passed 448k miles.

Quarter million miles! I think I might celebrate with a quarter pounder cheeseburger! Lol

Dang, I remember having to swap a load and losing 1k miles because supposedly dispatch couldnt find a load that wouldnt "close the doors at magnum" money wise. The broker load I just picked up going to MN has 1 skid on it, 1300lbs. Cant imagine this being a money maker lol
