That only works if you're an O/O...since you're married, your standard deductible is $24,000...in all my years, I don't think I ever itemized more than that, even with the level of the meal allowance we had the last number of years.runningman0661 and Winnyf1 Thank this.

I have learned to live with the parking...I mean it typically means 30 less paid miles on the run...stops me from worrying about the cost and just booking it when I need it...

actually, quite a few of those a good for company drivers too. My accountant is always pestering me to save more receipts.
This year will be different due to the changes in the code, but worse case, ya toss em. -
SSB is correct, with the new tax laws this year company drivers can no longer use itemized deductions or claim normal per diem, now If the company has a per diem program that’s different.Woobie Thanks this.
