With perdiem, you lower you taxable income, but if you ever get hurt and have to take workers comp or disability because of a long term illness or injury, it lowers the amount of the benefit they pay. Plus if you ever need to get a loan for a house or car (or anything else) it may effect how much they'll loan you because the taxable income to determine if you qualify.

Deadwood Thanks this. -
Let’s examine that in 2 seconds flat.
Even if you got 1000.00 a week taxed AFTER per diem that’s 52K a yr. Even at that amount you will get a very good loan if needed. Me, myself I have goals. I save 1K every week I’m on the road. Which honestly guys/girls it’s easy to do and all should be doing the same if not close. -
BUT every situation is different, I tuck my car away and my important belongings in a storage unit. Live and die by a storage unit. I enjoy the fat bank account I have and I refuse to pay these crazy rents or utilities.Farmerbob1 Thanks this.

Looks about right to me. There may be a fee for processing, but there is also a 2CPM raise coming down the pipe.
I am pretty sure there is a fee, but it did not amount to enough to attract my attention. -
Yup on fee. .01 CPM which is nothing. Per Diem for me please.
