I found the town I’m going to be moving to on that beer run in Wyoming.?It has a population of 4. When my family moves there we will double the population.

Kinda sounds like Jay Em! Then again that’s a heavily populated area (16) compared to what Radioshark was talking about.

 

Since I got this new truck, I've been tracking my fuel using the let's truck app.

Peoplenet says my mpg is like 8.7
Actual math (the app where I enter my mileage, etc) says my mpg is 7.6

Maybe someone can explain?

Maybe my numbers will round out after a while. Or maybe peoplenet is doing a huge disservice. Or maybe this app sucks. I didn't miss entering a fuel up. I just went and verified my fuel receipts in the mypilot app. So I'm pretty certain the data I entered is correct.

 

Manual calculation is the only way to figure MPG’s. I’m not even sure why peoplenet even attempts to calculate mpg’s it’s so far off. Must be a marketing tool. It’s about as helpful as rust proofing cars in Texas.

 

Popped the hood on the new T680 I’m taking delivery of and found this. Surprised me,

 

Yeah you're speaking a foreign language to me with that picture. Lol

 

You can also look at the dailies from your dash and see if Peoplenet is in line...it’s not to hard to just keep track of miles driven and gallons used to calculate as suggested.
