ok I know, I know, lame post. But I am curious are 18" wiper blades from a car or pick up the same attachment as a semi truck? I have some new bosch 18" blades for a pickup and curious if they are the same as my pete 379. (i'm not near the truck until I drive back to the terminal obviously)
Are semi windsheild wiper blades the same as a car?

I never bothered to check. The shop replaced them and kept three spare blades in a side box so I can drop them in if necessary. That was one item that never failed on the newer wipers driven by electric, unlike the older air driven ones.

when I first started I thought they were some special 18 wheeler wiper blades. Broke one in a snow storm in ohio. rigged it on the side of the road. company said go get it fixed and get oil changed while there. Long story short we spent a week in a hotel in SLC while freightliner fixed a effed up drain plug. . I rented a car and went sight seeing -

They have the same kind of attachment but do yourself a favor and don’t get the flimsy cheap ones.

Depends on the car...
My wife's Ford Escape uses some weird connector that makes the blades hard to find unless one goes to an overpriced auto parts store.
Then there is the "normal" two different U type connectors and the post connector.
I honestly don't know what my tractor uses as I've never paid attention. I let the shop change it when needed. -
Previous Petes and KWs had the u-shaped arm, my Mack has a post type arm, so it depends on if your blades are the adaptable type or not.
