My 2015 had a yellow check engine light the whole 2 years I had it. They reset the light so many times and it always came back on within 24 hours. Then finally they decided to do something with the DPF and it went away and never came back again until I turned that truck into be sold.
I'm not exactly sure what it is they did but I know for sure it was something to do with DPF. It was some sort of ordeal took all day. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to this kind of stuff.

I have a permanent fix for the check engine light.
I don't drive at Magnum any more, but I drive a Mack that has the same problem, as do a fair number of my co-workers trucks. These modern EPA approved trucks are so temperamental, what most dealership's have told me is, a yellow light isn't urgent, a red light means business. -
sc00ter and radioshark Thank this.

And I'm back.
Sailed to St. Lucia, Dominica, Iles de Saintes, Montserrat, Nevis, St. Kitts, St. Barths, Anguilla and St. Maarten over two weeks. Been quite the adventure, as always. Next time it'll be the Grenadines I think.

Delivered in Orlando.
Appt was at 2000. Finished around 2130. Heading to NC for reload.
Decided to park for the night because it was late. First rest area... Packed. Pilot... Packed. Second rest area... Packed. Two more pilots... Packed. Flying J and TA... Packed. Third rest area... Packed.
So I had been driving about 2 hours looking for parking NB on I95. So at that third rest area at the on ramp there were no trucks but it was lined with no parking signs, but there was tons of room and I was exhausted. So I parked there anyway. This was the ramp past all the legal parking, getting back on the highway.
A state trooper knocked on my door this morning. Asked me "what does that sign say?" Told me to move. Said he's giving me a "verbal warning" (along with level 3 inspection paperwork that clearly notes I was illegally parked). I wasnt being a jerk. Just yes sir, no sir... Hoping this will be over as quick as possible so I can go back to sleep.
Why don't they line every 10 feet of road with signs that say "driving while tired is also illegal". So I have a sign to point to.
So I'm not sure about this level 3 inspection paperwork. All it lists is a parking violation. I guess I'll figure out later if this is something I get a bonus for lol.
I don't know... To me... A verbal warning is more like... "I need you to move. You can't park here" not... Here's a piece of official paperwork stating what happened with all your information... LolLast edited: Mar 13, 2019
