Running with JCT, Part Deux

At the delivery now. Door immediately parking everywhere because I guess I hit it perfectly at 11:45.

 

They're usually busy in the mornings.

 

Nothing like waking up to a shut down reefer unit loaded with produce and temp tales.

 

Gotta love Tyson (or any other customer that has done it).

Tyson: We have this load for you to pickup.

Planner: Ok. Cool. I jusy had a truck empty out. I'll send them.

Tyson: Awesome.

Planner (to me): Hey, go pickup, head to Center to grab this load. Will send dispatch soon.

Me: Ok. Heading that way.

I get to Lufkin and still nothing. I eat lunch and take nap. Wake up to a message.

Planner: Tyson cancelled the load. Head to Fort Worth.

Me: *eye roll* Ok. Good thing I didn't go all the way to Center.

 

Can you pick up any future loads out of Center for me and drop them in Ft Worth so I don't ever have to go back to Center?

 

Anyone see the add about "market pay" it was very short on details

 

Got a phone call from Jack about the Qualcomms supposedly updating to ELD mode. Could hear others in the back calling a bunch of other drivers saying the same thing.



He did seem to suggest that it will still be functioning as a EOBRD...Tracy is not in today to ask about that though...

 

Naw. I'll pass. I hate going there also. Been going there for 9 years. It's always been a cluster. Worse now with the contruction they are doing.

 

Heading back to Florida after making a swap last night near Houston. Going to Disney this weekend to celebrate me and my sisters birthday. My sister and I have birthdays in August. I just celebrated mine this past Sunday and my sister is coming up on the 10th. My sister is an employee of Disney so we get discounted fast passes and tickets and all the lovely goodies. ( Lucky me)
