Degrees are for suckers. Waste 4+ years in college where they try to brainwash you into believing their ideologies and crap, rather than actually teach anything. Plus rack up $30-70k or more worth of student debt. Have fun paying that off over the next 10 years of your life, unless you like stringing yourself out on credit for everything.

I have two, count them, two degrees in healthcare related fields that are as worthless as the paper they are written on especially in the area that I live. Unless you are going for a highly professional career or something in engineering or science I wouldn't recommend college to anyone. Nowadays you come out with a mountain of debt and all for what, hopefully a job that pays 36k a year. There is a reason a good percentage of college grads are moving back home.
There are a ton of jobs paying 45k plus, driving included, that require less than 2 years schooling. My suggestion, get trained in one of these fields and start making money.

Pair that with a degree in women's studies and maybe you can be a barista.

You mean the thread has been dead since 2012, or the poster has been dead that long?
I think it is the next couple of years that you spend studying the sex life of a ping pong ball that sort of puts them off.:p:D

In the end, it's you signing the paperwork. And the company knows that, they will say he shouldn't have left our yard knowing he was unsafe.
